LUNCH AT SIR THOMAS WYATT

IMG_3399.PNGLunch this month was missed by Jackie which is a shame as the food was lovely as was our waitress Karen. This is a beefeater restaurant set in Maidstone, Kent which is very easy to get to as it is just off the M20 at Allington. As usual none of us had starters and all looked at the pudding menu before we ordered!
The food came piping hot and we all had something different but not one complaint as it was all delicious. Sylvie had smothered chicken.

IMG_7355.JPGSharon had the biggest quiche I have ever seen.

IMG_7357.JPGSheila had the gammon and pineapple, I loved the way the chips came separate in little pots so it was up to you if you tipped them out or not.

IMG_7356.JPG Corinne was the only one that was being very good and she just had a chicken salad.

IMG_7358.JPGLastly I had the fish and chips and the fish was lovely. Considering some of these were £4.99 lunchtime specials the servings were very big. We all had room for the desserts though and they were very yummy.

Considering it rained all day it did not stop our enjoyment and once again a great time was had by all and we will be going there again for another bargain lunch.
Next month is our Christmas lunch which will be in Folkestone at the BlackBull Hungry Horse, we are just getting one secret Santa present this year so that will be fun. I cannot believe how quick this year has gone, another year older, children growing up far too quickly making you feel even older. Winter is beginning to set in now, which is coming as a bit of a shock as it has been so warm and mild in fact last week on Halloween we had temperatures of 22! Roll on summer lol
