LUNCH AT THE MAYFLY

Last week was lunchtime with my friends and after a combinations of hiccups mainly to do with my car not wanting to go anywhere, it did get taken to the garage under duress. We ended up at the Mayfly again in Hawkinge.

20140802-040222 pm-57742344.jpgThe foods was great and they did tell us that there would be a 30 minute wait but that didn’t bother us at all and hardly noticed it with all the chatting we did. The food we had was all presented lovely from cod & chips, scampi a vegetarian pie and chilli chicken.

20140802-040530 pm-57930743.jpgWe are having a great summer at the moment so in true British style we had a jug of Pimms, very nice but could of had a better selection of fruit in it.

20140802-040828 pm-58108944.jpgJackie could not make it and we all really missed her so make sure you don’t miss the next one Jackie. These pictures were all taken with the new camera and as you can see they really are so much clearer, I absolutely love it. Dessert was a hard choice as the menu is full of so many yummy things but this is what we decided on in the end.

So that was lunch for another month, I cannot wait till the next one girls.
